Was a beautiful day and whilst the sun shone we dashed out in the early evening to capture some special moments for the couple before the big day. It gave them the oppertunity to get comfortable with the camera in front of them, but half the time I was some distance away shooting through bushes and all sorts. Must have looked a bit dodgy ha ha. Being a Crawley Wedding Photographer it lends it self quite well to certain beauty spots, Tilgate Park is certainly one of them. Have a look at some of the featured images but there were many more. Mini Lingfest 2016

I was approached to photographically cover a corporate mini festival at Lingfield Park, sounded great so obviously jumped at the chance. Luckily the sun was shining if a little breezy at times. There was a sweet stall, Hog Roast, Pizzas cooking in a massive clay oven, jumbo hotdogs, bean bags on the lawn and an amazing mobile stage in the guise of a vintage american caravan playing live music from various local bands, photo booth, drinks tents and bars, ice cream van, caricaturist, magician, 2 massive inflatable obstacal courses… the list goes on. Kids were running around and on the inflatables. Even the parents were jumping around on them too, (think it must have been something to do with all the kids sweets they were scoffing). The New…. Mr & Mrs Chandler!!

Wow what a day! So today we started at St Margret’s Church in Ifield Crawley, where at first the sun was out and everyone enjoying a swift half in the Plough before heading into the church for the ceremony. Next thing there’s Thunder and pouring rain. Anyway once the service was done the new husband and wife headed to Redeham Hall in Smallfield in their very lovely Rolls. Swiftly followed by the hundreds of guests. & a soaked photographer… What a venue, Stacey had gone all out on the decoration. There were teepees with picnic benches, hog roast, ice cream vans, hay bails, pizza vans toys and games for the kids, the list goes on. The couple were so sweet and both looked amazing. Stacey works at White Dresses and Tiara’s so the dress as predicted was stunning. All the brides maids were gorgeous and the little page boys too. The sun came out and we stole a few minutes to go and create some magic in the grounds.What beautiful grounds they were too, long winding drive, fields, beautiful gardens with old walls and gates, a photographers dream. Today was always going to be a hot one… The church was packed and the couple were surrounded by family and friends, I knew it would be a good day. The weather was amazing, the party was epic. Easter weekend and the parties were going off. Most were out enjoying themselves over the 4 day hols, but a certain few still have work commitments 😉 So my shoot was a Tattoo studio and Barbers (Sidehow Tattoo Company & The Cutthroat Barber Company) celebrating at a local pub after opening a new shop front, (you can find their Facebook fan page links below). The crowd were amazing, there was live dj, band and Facebook celebrity by the name of ‘Brad’s Dad’! I even snuck in a quick selfie with the friendly chap. Here’s a couple of shots from the night, if you need an event photographer, doesn’t have to be local, we travel. Crawley, Sussex, West Sussex, East Sussex and all over the South East and even London then just drop us a line. Honestly, you’ll not find nicer people, Michael who owns Sideshow Tattoo Company and his team do the best tattoos I’ve ever witnessed! I only recently was introduced to Daniel who owns The Cuttroat Barber Company, but from what I’ve seen he’s pretty sharp with that blade! He’s also a decent fella. The Warner Twins aged 9 months

It’s time for a little post about our very own little monsters. Max & Millie have now reached 9 months and time is really flying along now. Feels like it was only yesterday that they arrived into our world. So the little milk monsters rarely get a chance in front of the camera with Barney being so busy, but he found a little slot for them just the other morning in between changing nappies and wiping food from the walls! I joke. They each have great little personalities and have their own magical ways. Max is a happy little fellow, always smiling and happy to see Barney arrive home from a busy day usually wedding photographing or after a portrait session out and about. Being a Crawley Wedding Photographer does tend to leave little time for Barney at the weekends and evenings to see the little monkeys so it’s quite special and he notices the subtle changes day to day. So the image we’ve shared is a triptic made from shots on a white background, which is our favourite look as it tends to be quite timeless. Look how much they have grown in just a few months!
