A long time coming, the Weller Wedding at The Crowne Plaza Hotel Felbridge, here we go… Crowne Plaza Felbridge Neil & Leanne came to me back in 2018 regarding their original wedding date for 2020. The pandemic hit and everything went out the window so to speak. Poor things put their wedding off twice and thrid time lucky it went without a hitch! ‘Nelly’ as many know Neil, is a long time family friend of mine. As children we grew up across the road from each other. We’d play in the street and help each other when we needed it. Like a family member. Neil is a fantastic lad, a gentleman with his heart on his sleeve. He’d do anything for you, and Leanne struck gold with him. They now have 2 fantastic children and you can sense the family love straight away. As soon as Neil was brave enough to ask Leanne to marry him I always hoped he’d ask me to photograph his wedding. Wedding Videography at the Long Furlong Barn with Louise and Barry. I love wedding videography. It’s something that Barney Warner Photography have always offered but never really pushed. Until now! Here’s a little preview from a recent wedding we covered back in 2017. You can see we had the weather on our side. Always a good thing. Louise and Barry were a great couple to work with. From the start it was clear to see they were both so very relaxed. Taking it all in their stride. The Long Furlong Barn, is a beautiful setting for any event, but weddings especially. With rolling hills and amazing views over the south downs. Intimate, but also lending itself to amazing parties. With it’s Barn ceremony room and a big hall for the wedidng breakfast, it’s clear to see how this venue is great for a wedding. The cottage joining is fab for a bride to prepair in. Airy and bright, with comfortable furninshings too. The day went without any hitch. Bestman was on top form, and everyone had a giggle. Barry is a twin. Identicle. The New…. Mr & Mrs Chandler!!

Wow what a day! So today we started at St Margret’s Church in Ifield Crawley, where at first the sun was out and everyone enjoying a swift half in the Plough before heading into the church for the ceremony. Next thing there’s Thunder and pouring rain. Anyway once the service was done the new husband and wife headed to Redeham Hall in Smallfield in their very lovely Rolls. Swiftly followed by the hundreds of guests. & a soaked photographer… What a venue, Stacey had gone all out on the decoration. There were teepees with picnic benches, hog roast, ice cream vans, hay bails, pizza vans toys and games for the kids, the list goes on. The couple were so sweet and both looked amazing. Stacey works at White Dresses and Tiara’s so the dress as predicted was stunning. All the brides maids were gorgeous and the little page boys too. The sun came out and we stole a few minutes to go and create some magic in the grounds.What beautiful grounds they were too, long winding drive, fields, beautiful gardens with old walls and gates, a photographers dream.
