South Lodge Wedding

South Lodge Wedding …. this place!! Wow. So this wasn’t my first time shooting at this fantatsic venue, but we’ll come back to the venue in  amoment. Mid week, a Wednesday, yep that’s right, it’s becoming very popular to get married mid week these days. I love it. This was the wedding of the beautiful Lucy & Ashleigh. What a great couple, very down to earth, up for a giggle. It came across vividly in the photos, which I adore. The day started off at Lucy’s family home in Haywards Heath. Greeted with smiley faces and to my suprise everyone was so calm. Letting the bride know things are under control always seems to help. However I didn’t need to. Tom, (Lucy’s lad), was such a great help, nothing was too much trouble and being taller than myself enabled us to manover the wedding dress to heights I couldn’t reach for photos. Cheers Tom! The whole family were so relaxed. Make up and hair was under way. I fell into a nice relaxing environment, knowing the makeup artist had things chill. Starting with details of the preps, following with some wedding portrait photography and overalls. Always good to get the […]

Wedding Photographer Brighton

What Makes Brighton So Special? It’s known as the most hippest city in the UK or even London by the sea, but there’s no denying that Brighton has its fair share of fun. It’s the university town that students never want to leave, while being one of the most popular cities in the UK for weddings. So what makes this once, typical seaside town so special that it’s not just seagulls that flock to it? Nightlife Whatever you’re into: pubs, clubs, trendy coffee bars, bespoke cafes or swanky eateries, Brighton has something for everyone. Food Talking of eateries, every type of food and international cuisines that exist can be found in Brighton.  Whether you enjoy fresh seafood in an elegant location or prefer salty, crunchy fish and chips while walking along the seafront, you’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to eating out. Quirky Shops The seafront is host to a wide range of quirky tourist shops with a typical seaside resort feel taking you back in time to childhood holidays. Wandering down North Laine, you’ll find a wonderfully eclectic treasure trove of independent shops run by local business owners. Here you can spend hours discovering bespoke homewares, hand […]

Congratulations Ann & Michael!!

Just the 2nd day into the new year and we’ve captured our 1st wedding of the year. The rain was holding off…. just. The wedding took place up north in a town called Retford at a lovely hotel. If the weather was better it offered some amazing grounds, but we stuck to the path and created some lovely pictures anyway. Friends and family of the couple were in full swing and everyone had a fab time. Thanks for letting us be part of your big day guys x x

Gemma & Daniel @ Buxtead Park

Really looking forward to be working with these two! October is coming up and they have everything at the ready for their big day. Daniel hates having his picture taken but at the end of the shoot he was a true professional. Buxtead Park is a great setting for a wedding and with backdrops such as these they are going to be spoilt for choice when the time comes to pick the image to go on the wall at home. Can’t wait for October guys, thanks for choosing us to be with you along the way 🙂
