History The Royal Pavilion was first constructed as a modest seaside residence for the then Prince Regent, George IV in 1787. Congratulations to Mr & Mrs Ashdown, they had fabulous weather and a venue to compliment. Brighton Beach. Ceremony took place at St Mary’s Church in Patcham, then onto The Vodka Attic at Bar Revolution and The Ship Hotel on Brighton’s Sea Front.
