West Sussex wedding photography at Ghyll Manor

I love staying local, especially in West Sussex, it’s a beautiful part of the south, wedding photography at Ghyll Manor is quite unique. It’s a really beautifully set location with an old manor house and extensive grounds leading down to a gorgeous lake with lilly pads. Recent years of ever increasing popularity lead to the construction of the newer part of this venue which not only gives a great party but also accomodates guests over night. Yesterday was the amazing wedding of Claire and Dean. I’ve known them both for many years and grew up in the same area, went to the same schools and occasionally ‘knocked about’ in similar cirlces of friends, which meant I knew a fair number of the guests which instantly helps when capturing the natural essence of the day. I tend to blend in as best I can with the guests to be as unobtrusive as possible, producing some unstaged moments that the couple can treasure. It was a warm close weather type of day, which can be uncomfortable sometimes in suits, I felt for the guys in the 3 peices but it didn’t distract from the day. Everyone was easy going and up for […]

Introducing Amber Bayliss

May we present to you baby Amber Bayliss, an absolute treasure to photograph, she slept a little too whilst with us 🙂

Congratulations Sarah & Richard!

Another wedding just after Christmas Day, but this one was freezing!!We attended this wedding at Woodlands Park Hotel in Cobham. Even the water fountain at the front of the hotel was frozen! We love Christmas weddings, Woodlands Park Hotel had the most amazing Christmas tree in the reception area and this is also where the ceremony took place. There was a lovely log fire burning and everyone sat round watching the couple tie the knot. Emma said that this was her favourite wedding at Christmas so far and I could see why. If you ever get the chance to visit Woodlands Park Hotel, do. It’s awesome! Being wedding photographers in Crawley we do tend to travel around a fair bit but this was or first at Woodlands Park Hotel, we’d love to go back soon!

Congratulations Katie & Tom

The wedding of some dear friends; Katie & Tom. With a massive marquee behind their cottage, (possibly the largest we’ve seen) stood a bouncy castle, coconut shy, candy floss and popcorn stalls. In the air was the lovely aroma of the spit roast pig, and popcorn! Hay bales surrounding us and the champagne was flowing. Kids running round having a great time and we even saw the adults on the bouncy castle showing them how it’s done. Here is a sneak peek of the happy couple having a moment to themselves.
